With over 100 years of formation and development, we always bring our customers extremely diverse and unique products. Customer satisfaction is the motivation that drives us to continuously strive to fully utilize our capabilities and develop our craft village brand further. Below is an overview of our Handicraft Horn Village:

The traditional Do Hai handicraft horn village has existed for more than a hundred years. It was introduced by Mr. Nguyen Van Tan to teach the local people.

In the early period, the village’s products were limited, mainly serving the northern region, so the types of products were not diverse. The main products at that time included horse whips, hat straps, nho mai, brushes, etc.

Along with the development of history, the village also experienced ups and downs. As the economy developed and the market expanded, households formed production groups. In 1957, the Thanh Son Handicraft Cooperative was established, including 70 households with 100 main workers and 50 auxiliary workers, developing many new product types to meet market demand not only domestically but also internationally. During this period, the village had about 160 to 180 product samples with high aesthetic value such as Double Dragon-Phoenix, Anh Hung Tu Ngo, combs, zodiac animals, etc., exported to countries like the Soviet Union, Eastern Europe, and China.

The traditional Do Hai handicraft horn village is located in An Lao Commune, Binh Luc District, Ha Nam Province, with over 200 households living there, 99% of whom participate in producing traditional handicraft products.

By 1987, due to incompatible mechanisms, the Cooperative officially dissolved into household production groups. During this period, the village had 2 master artisans and 6 craftsmen awarded the Golden Hands title by the Department of Industry and Trade and the Craft Village Association.

By 2004, Do Hai Village was awarded a CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION AS A CRAFT VILLAGE by the People’s Committee of Ha Nam Province, with the full name DO HAI HANDICRAFT HORN VILLAGE.

Since the market economy developed, with support and facilitation from the government and local authorities, the craft village has increasingly developed and expanded its market to countries in Southeast Asia and Asia.

From buffalo and cow horn materials, the village’s skilled artisans and craftsmen have created hundreds of products for daily life such as horse whips, hair combs, hair clips, as well as delicate handicraft items reflecting traditional cultural identity like animal figurines, statues, and classical sets such as the Tam Da statues, “dragon, unicorn, turtle, phoenix”, “pine, chrysanthemum, bamboo, apricot blossom”… The village’s products are not only exquisite but also unique, with creativity and artistic value. Therefore, they are sold widely, and some high-level handicraft products are exported to France, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Germany, South Korea, Australia, the USA, and China.
